Production Team Leader for Corrugated Cardboard Machine

As a Production Team Leader for the Corrugated Cardboard Machine, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production process. Your primary responsibility will be to lead a team of 15 employees and ensure that the machine is running at maximum capacity according to the schedule.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in a technical field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a production environment. You will be responsible for ensuring the physical and mental safety of the production team, as well as maintaining qualitative and quantitative operational availability and deployment of the production team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the physical and mental safety of the production team
- Maintain qualitative and quantitative operational availability and deployment of the production team
- Responsible for performance appraisals and performance reviews, conducting recruitment and selection interviews, and managing absenteeism
- Coach, motivate, and supervise employees
- Ensure compliance with occupational health, safety, environmental, and quality management systems, as well as other company and safety regulations
- Monitor the quality of produced products according to specifications and quality assurance procedures
- Take responsibility for thorough handling and analysis of production complaints, taking preventive measures, and providing appropriate information and instructions to employees
- Monitor, steer, and report on agreed KPIs, including safety, quality, yield, efficiency, waste, and absenteeism
- Ensure the correct technical availability of machines and associated equipment and installations
- Make improvement proposals for the production process in terms of safety, quality, productivity, and labor efficiency
- Ensure proper shift handover
Requirements:
- Demonstrable education in a technical field
- Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience in a production environment
- Strong communication skills and the ability to motivate your team
- Good knowledge of the MS Office package (Word, Excel)
- Proficiency in both Dutch and English languages
- You are a team player with a great deal of enthusiasm
- You are flexible regarding working hours
- Experience with reporting based on OEE
