Position Overview

Your Role:

As the Senior Engineering Project Coordinator, you will lead the engineering initiatives within various projects. This role requires you to supervise Interface and System engineers, guiding them through intricate engineering assignments.

The scope of your projects will cover the complete lifecycle, from engineering and production to installation and commissioning of power distribution systems. This includes medium- and low-voltage switchgear, transformers, power distribution units, bus bar systems, digital protection, automation and monitoring systems, as well as modular solutions like E-Houses and Skids.

Your meticulous attention to detail will ensure coherence across diverse designs and disciplines, all while adhering to budgetary and scheduling constraints in a dynamic client environment.

In addition to managing the engineering team, you will maintain regular communication with clients, providing expert guidance and ensuring smooth coordination between designs and stakeholders. You will serve as the primary technical contact, collaborating closely with Project Managers.

Your work will primarily take place at our office, with frequent travel to factories and project sites globally. You will oversee factory testing, participate in client meetings, and coordinate site activities.

Qualifications

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering from a recognized institution, with at least 7 years of experience as a (lead) engineer in multidisciplinary projects.
  • Strong theoretical and practical knowledge in low- and medium-voltage switchgear, transformers, short-circuit and selectivity calculations, and compliance with standards such as IEC 61439.
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare technical documentation and testing protocols.
  • A creative and positive mindset with outstanding communication skills to inspire and lead teams.
  • Proficient in developing and implementing engineering strategies while effectively managing and mentoring team members.
  • Skilled in navigating complex interpersonal dynamics, including managing critical client relationships with tact.
  • Willingness to travel frequently for short business trips.
  • Ability to remain composed under pressure, thriving in fast-paced environments.
  • Fluency in English is essential, with proficiency in Dutch being a plus.
