PhD Researcher in Electromagnetic Compatibility and Propagation

The Power Electronics and Electromagnetic Compatibility Group at the University of Twente invites highly motivated researchers to apply for a PhD position in the field of electromagnetic compatibility and propagation. The project, funded by the EU Horizon 2020 Marie Skiodowska-Curie Project NEPIT, aims to develop validated models to predict EM coupling into and out of complex systems using Monte-Carlo deterministic and statistical techniques for EM waves.
Key objectives include the development of widely accepted models to estimate the risk of EMI, which can be embedded in current EM tools as applied within industry. The successful candidate will be trained in random EM coupling into/out of complex systems.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Background in physical electronics, analytical mathematics, and simulation.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Proficient in English and able to collaborate intensively with industrial and academic parties.
