Product Innovation Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop new fabrics with corresponding suppliers.
  • Develop new colors and check lab dips (spectra photo meter).
  • Create technical files - technical sketches, product description, measurement & grading.
  • Follow up sampling, arrange fitting and prepare proto comments.
  • Organize size set fitting and prepare final comments for production.
  • Prepare care labels for new styles.
  • Set color standards and ensure regular shade evaluation.
  • Arrange print tests during fabric development and before production.
  • Check and approve PPS samples and all other sales/team/fair samples.
  • Cross-develop samples.

Requirements:

  • You have a technical degree in textile.
  • Experience in the textile industry (retail or B2B).
  • Fluent in English and Dutch.
  • Knowledge of Illustrator.
  • You have a strong awareness of the challenges of sustainable development.
  • Strong communication skills as well as problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
  • Great multitasking skills and capabilities to ensure deadlines.
