Assistant Store Manager - Retail Leadership Role

As a key member of our retail team, you will play a vital role in supporting the Store Manager and contributing to the success of your store. At VF Corporation, we are committed to empowering our employees to develop their full potential and take ownership of their careers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales and profitability in synergy with the Store Manager
  • Motivate, mentor, and coach sales associates and supervisors
  • Assist the Store Manager in implementing our established retail processes and identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Stay on top of core retail operational procedures, including inventory and P&L management
  • Report performance metrics and demonstrate understanding of KPIs to improve store results
  • Ensure the store maintains a high level of visual merchandising and presentation
  • Provide cover in the Store Manager's absence

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with customers and colleagues in a professional manner
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Experience in retail sales and customer service, with a proven track record of driving sales and improving customer satisfaction
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours
  • Fluency in Dutch and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
