About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting and External Reporting Specialist to join our team at Mondelēz International. As a key member of our Accounting and External Reporting (AER) team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the preparation of financial statements and reports, including U.S. GAAP and statutory financial reporting.
- Reconcile and adjust general ledger accounts and/or bank statements.
- Perform moderately complex analyses of performance results.
- Contribute to strong controls and compliance environment and comply with Mondelēz International's AER policies.
- Support audit activities and provide information on auditors' requests.
Requirements
- Technical expertise in accounting and external reporting, including understanding U.S. GAAP, IFRS or local GAAP, close processes and financial reporting systems.
- Business acumen and experience working in FMCG/CPG industry or Big Four accounting.
- Leadership skills, including proven business partnering and communication skills.
- Growth/digital mindset and the ability to leverage technology to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Integrity and sound judgment in all decisions and interactions aligned with our values, policies and external regulations.

Education and Language
Bachelor's degree in Accounting (nice to have). Fluency in English and Dutch.
