About the Role

As a Customer Support Specialist for Agilent, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our customers by providing exceptional technical support and service. This position requires a strong understanding of scientific instrumentation, automation, and laboratory operations, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Travel to and from customer locations to perform service, including routine air travel
  • Install and optimize hardware, software, and network products and configurations at customer sites
  • Diagnose and resolve product performance problems
  • Perform maintenance and repair services
  • Proactively respond to potential equipment issues to prevent unplanned interruption of customers' business
  • Deliver fully integrated solutions, which may include peripherals, communications, operating systems, and applications software
  • Maintain performance in a professional manner and in line with assigned metrics, processes, and procedures
  • Drive customer satisfaction through communication, attention to detail, proactive actions, and timely escalations as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree within the science field, such as biology, biochemistry, biotechnology, or equivalent
  • Sufficient work experience, including familiarity with scientific instrumentation, automation, and laboratory operations
  • Experience with troubleshooting and problem-solving
  • Experience with Agilent solutions is desired but not crucial
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with proficiency in Dutch also preferred
  • Willingness to travel across the Benelux region
  • Verbal and written communication is clear, respectful, and timely
