Technical Service Engineer

About the Role
As a Customer Support Specialist for Agilent, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our customers by providing exceptional technical support and service. This position requires a strong understanding of scientific instrumentation, automation, and laboratory operations, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Travel to and from customer locations to perform service, including routine air travel
- Install and optimize hardware, software, and network products and configurations at customer sites
- Diagnose and resolve product performance problems
- Perform maintenance and repair services
- Proactively respond to potential equipment issues to prevent unplanned interruption of customers' business
- Deliver fully integrated solutions, which may include peripherals, communications, operating systems, and applications software
- Maintain performance in a professional manner and in line with assigned metrics, processes, and procedures
- Drive customer satisfaction through communication, attention to detail, proactive actions, and timely escalations as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree within the science field, such as biology, biochemistry, biotechnology, or equivalent
- Sufficient work experience, including familiarity with scientific instrumentation, automation, and laboratory operations
- Experience with troubleshooting and problem-solving
- Experience with Agilent solutions is desired but not crucial
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with proficiency in Dutch also preferred
- Willingness to travel across the Benelux region
- Verbal and written communication is clear, respectful, and timely
