About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Software Developer to join our global Software Development team at Abacus Medicine. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in the ongoing development, maintenance, and transitioning of custom software towards a more scalable and modern cloud native infrastructure.

Responsibilities
  • Implement new features important for business operation and development;
  • Interact with product owners and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and needs;
  • Update our technical platform;
  • Participate in planning and sprint meetings;
  • Handle incoming bugs and minor change requests;
  • Debug, fix errors, create unit and integration tests, and refactor code;
  • Use best practices to ensure code performance and maintainability, including Test Driven Development;
  • Work closely with Danish colleagues using Pair Programming.
Requirements
  • 3-6 years of experience with C# and MS.NET;
  • Good programming skills in C# and a good understanding of MVC/Razor and SQL;
  • Knowledge of CI/CD processes, including automatic testing, deployment, and release;
  • Unit testing;
  • Experience with React or similar Frontend TypeScript languages is an advantage;
  • Experience with Azure would also be an advantage;
  • Microsoft Visual Studio and Git;
  • Bilingual in English and Hungarian (both spoken and written);
  • Attention to detail, ability to work flexible and in a team, and a problem-solver who is comfortable working on their own initiatives and hungry to learn.
