Job Description:

At SWISSOTEL, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team. As a key member of our restaurant management team, you will be responsible for the overall management of our restaurant, working closely with the Restaurant Manager to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cooperate operationally and coordinate daily operational activities to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Coach, motivate, and guide our team members to achieve exceptional service standards.
  • Contribute to efficient personnel planning, recruitment, and HR policy development.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including HACCP and House Rules.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to maintain high-quality standards and negotiate optimal purchasing terms.
  • Assist in the development of our drinks menu and pricing strategy.
  • Maintain open communication with suppliers and stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements:

  • MBO level 4/HBO work and thinking level.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • At least 1 year of demonstrable managerial experience in the hospitality industry.
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to manage employees effectively.
  • Guest-oriented and service-minded with a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Flexible and proactive with a willingness to work alternate shifts and weekends.
  • Knowledge of legal regulations in safety and hygiene.
  • Proficiency in Dutch and English languages.
  • Knowledge of allergen legislation.
  • Availability to work 40 hours per week.
