Restaurant Management Trainee

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Restaurant & Bar Management Trainee to join our team at Mövenpick Hotel Amsterdam City Centre. As a Trainee, you will be responsible for supporting the Restaurant & Bar Manager in ensuring the smooth operation of our F&B department.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the preparation and execution of daily restaurant and bar operations;
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure that all guests have a memorable dining experience;
- Work closely with the Restaurant & Bar Manager to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance the overall guest experience;
- Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of our menu and beverage offerings;
- Assist with inventory management, ordering, and stock control;
- Participate in staff training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge;
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive team culture.
- Currently studying towards a degree in Hospitality, Hotel Management, or a related field;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations;
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills;
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays;
- Availability to commit to a minimum of 20 weeks as a Trainee.
