Business Continuity Manager

As a Business Continuity Manager at ING, you will be responsible for designing and maintaining the framework and processes for managing business continuity. You will have a good understanding of IT and be able to prepare infrastructure and engineering for activities related to business continuity to reduce customer impact to an absolute minimum.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the business continuity management framework and processes
  • Coordinate and monitor BCM/DR exercises with coordinators from other ING domains and relevant stakeholders
  • Act as a first line policy champion for the Operational Resilience Standard (ORS) for I&E
  • Perform ORS and BCM control compliance checks across I&E tribes and involved in preparation of the Non-financial risk score in discussion with 2nd line Information Risk Management (IRM)
  • Participate in BCM-related audits and regular discussions at local and global level
  • Align with the central and Local Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)/Business continuity team
  • Lead the continuous improvement in the BCM process
  • Ad hoc activities related to BCM like Process Control Standard (PCS) review, raising awareness on BCM topics

Requirements

  • Proven track record in the area of Business Continuity Management
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in similar roles
  • Experience and thorough understanding of BCM processes and IT stack
  • Certification in Business Continuity Management is a plus
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Agile in working hours (no 9-5 mentality, standby shifts if required)
  • Self-driven, proactive, and organized, with the ability to identify what needs to be done
  • Results-oriented, and striving to deliver value-adding services
  • Strong team player who takes responsibility
  • Strong problem solver to structure and improve complex situations
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English
  • Professional and intellectual IT ability at university level - at least a Bachelor's degree
