About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Platform Engineer to join our team at Coolblue. As a Data Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and operationalizing data processing platforms with a focus on security, scalability, reliability, and flexibility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement data processing platforms on AWS and/or Google Cloud
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines using Airflow, Kafka, and other tools
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality and integrity
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in data engineering
  • Contribute to the development of our data governance framework
Requirements
  • Experience with cloud architecture on AWS and/or GCP
  • Experience with configuration management using Terraform, Cloud Formation, or CDK
  • Experience with continuous integration using Teamcity or equivalent
  • Experience with logging and monitoring using Datadog or equivalent
  • Strong understanding of data processing and data engineering concepts
