Research Assistant Professor/Post-doctoral Fellow in Epidemiology or Biostatistics

We are seeking highly qualified candidates for appointment as Research Assistant Professor (RAP) or Post-doctoral Fellow (PDF) in Epidemiology or Biostatistics at the School of Public Health. The successful appointee will be primarily responsible for applied and methodological work in epidemiological and/or statistical research.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct power/sample size estimation and generate tables and figures for reports and presentations
  • Write scientific publications, grant proposals, and reports
  • Assist in general administrative, operational, and other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Doctoral degree by research (Ph.D., D.Sc., Dr.P.H. or equivalent) in epidemiology, biostatistics, public health, or related disciplines
  • Strong quantitative background and experience in analyzing epidemiological data using R, STATA, SAS, or other statistical packages
  • Demonstrated expertise in the analysis of large and complex datasets
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in longitudinal analyses, multilevel modeling, data visualization, and state-of-the-art statistical and epidemiological models
