About the RoleWe are seeking an IT-Applications Manager to oversee the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of all IT applications in our Netherlands & Belgium business. As the main point of contact for all applications, you will ensure efficient business operations and support our strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a team of experts and external consultants to deliver high-quality IT solutions.
- Oversee the management of all IT systems and solutions, including SAP S/4 HANA, e-Commerce systems, Salesforce, Tableau, and integrations with 3rd party systems.
- Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for the IT Competence Center aligned with the overall business objectives.
- Ensure successful project execution, meeting timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Facilitate regular communication with business leaders to provide updates on project status, system performance, and upcoming initiatives.
- Lead and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve project goals and deliverables.
- Identify opportunities for system enhancements and process improvements to maximize the functionality of SAP applications.
- Monitor and manage the performance, availability, and stability of SAP systems and other applications.
- Proactively identify and address system issues, bottlenecks, and vulnerabilities to maintain a robust and secure SAP environment.
- Provide oversight and guidance for the SAP support team to resolve technical issues promptly.
- Ensure Standard Operating Procedures are followed, and documentation related to configurations, processes, and procedures are maintained.
- Ensure that SAP systems comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, business management, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience with a proven track record of leading cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge in one or more areas of SAP S/4 HANA modules, such as SD, MM, FICO, or EWM, or deep expertise in ABAP/Basis.
- Experience in wholesale distribution, eCommerce, and/or pharmaceutical domains is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Analytical, solution-oriented, and result-driven personality with the ability to see the bigger picture and have a sharp eye for detail.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Knowledge of project management tools.
