SAP Commerce Cloud Project Lead

Covetrus is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead the implementation and rollout of our eCommerce platform based on SAP Commerce Cloud.

This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and ensure successful project outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have a solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies such as Java Enterprise Edition (JEE) including Java & JSP.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Working closely with business users to understand requirements and convert them into solution & technical design.
  • Preparing a digital roadmap and implementation plan for various OpCos of Covetrus.
  • Deciding on the end-to-end solution with SAP Commerce and other components including the integration architecture.
  • Developing a detailed project plan with scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Working with internal IT and external IT vendor to deliver the project successfully within the planned scope, budget & schedule.
  • Monitoring project performance using appropriate tools & techniques and effectively communicating the status to all stakeholders and gathering feedback.
  • Identifying and operationalizing continuous improvement areas.
  • Performing risk management to minimize project risks in a timely manner.

Requirements include:

  • Bachelor's in information technology or business administration.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience.
  • Experience with digital transformation projects involving SAP Commerce Cloud (SAP Hybris), Product Information Management (PIM) and integration platforms (SAP CPI / Boomi).
  • Delivered projects using Agile (Scrum) or Waterfall methods. Certified PMP or Prince2 practitioner.
  • Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies such as Java Enterprise Edition (JEE) including Java & JSP.
  • Having experience in wholesale distribution, eCommerce &/or pharmaceutical domains is a plus.
  • Analytical, solution-oriented & result-driven personality with the ability to see the bigger picture and have a sharp eye for detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to be able to effectively interact with senior Leadership, as well as associates at all levels.
  • Knowledge on project management tools.
