Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Dedicated Automotive Calibration Specialist to join our Emission Calibration team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for contributing to the development of heavy-duty diesel engines, emphasizing engine performance and calibration of Electronic Control Unit (ECU) functions. Your expertise will be invaluable in the calibration and development of mechatronic components integrated into the engine system. You will engage in various engine calibration tasks as part of a team, all aimed at achieving the best possible fuel economy and performance within defined limits.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the development of heavy-duty diesel engines, emphasizing engine performance and calibration of Electronic Control Unit (ECU) functions.
  • Participate in the calibration and development of mechatronic components integrated into the engine system.
  • Engage in various engine calibration tasks as part of a team, all aimed at achieving the best possible fuel economy and performance within defined limits.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will require:
  • A Master's degree in Automotive Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or Mechatronics.
  • A strong interest and familiarity with internal combustion engines.
  • Prior experience in engine testing, particularly with heavy-duty truck engines, is highly desirable.
  • Previous exposure to heavy-duty truck engine calibration would be a significant advantage.
  • Proficiency in MATLAB, including modeling and scripting, is preferred.
  • Possession of knowledge of statistical principles and methods.
