Engine Calibration Specialist

At Yacht, we are seeking a skilled Engine Calibration Specialist to join our team in the Engine Integration department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting PD engineers in developing heavy-duty diesel engines, focusing on system-level calibration and verification according to the automotive SPICE process.
Key Responsibilities
- Support PD engineers in developing heavy-duty diesel engines, focusing on system-level calibration and verification according to the automotive SPICE process.
- Coach engineers on how to use tools and processes, with a focus on test case engineering and design.
- Document processes of test case creation, requirement coverage, and responsibilities.
- Take initiative to constantly improve related tools and processes.
- Monitor and drive engineers to follow processes before and during all project phases.
- You will be the connection for the system-level testing groups within EI&V and the rest of the organization.
Requirements
- MSc degree in Automotive / Mechanical / Electrical engineering or equivalent.
- Extensive knowledge of test case design and engineering (IREB certificate preferred) and configuration management.
- Experience in coaching other engineers.
- Experience with Six Sigma related processes is a plus (i.e. DMAIC, Design For Six Sigma, FMEA, Monte Carlo).
- Knowledge of development process models like SPICE and ISO26262 is a plus.
