Chief Pilot HHO Operations

As a key member of our aviation team, you will conduct operations (HHO/helideck operations) to offshore facilities, vessels, and wind turbines in the North Sea from our operational bases.
Responsibilities & Areas of Focus- Maintain a thorough understanding of applicable Belgian, Dutch, and International aviation regulations and established operational protocols;
- Execute flights in accordance with NHV's standard operating procedures;
- Oversee the overall safety of each flight, including route planning, fuel assessments, navigation, and terrain awareness;
- Ensure the safety of all passengers and cargo throughout the flight;
- Exhibit high standards of conduct and personal discipline, representing NHV with professionalism;
- Effectively manage rest periods to remain prepared for flight duties at all times;
- Demonstrate a service-oriented mindset with the ability to positively engage with passengers;
- Show flexibility and adaptability in response to changing operational needs.
Technical Requirements:
- EASA CPL(H) License
- EASA Class 1 Medical Certification
- EASA IFR (H)ME and IFR Night Rating
- ATPL(H) Theory and MCC Certificate
Type Rating:
- Preferably AS365 N3 or H145
Total Flight Hours Required:
- 2000 hours on rotary wing aircraft
- 1000 hours as Pilot in Command
- 500 hours in Multi-Engine operations
HHO Experience:
- 200 hours of relevant HHO experience in helicopters
- 200 hoist cycles offshore, including 50 cycles at night
Location: Candidates should reside within a 4-hour drive from our operational base.
SkillsLanguage Proficiency:
- English Proficiency Level 4
- Fluency in Dutch is required
Strong ICT skills, particularly with aviation-specific software and administrative tools.
Adherence to company procedures is essential.
