Core Engineering Team Lead

Tower Research Capital is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our Core Engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing a high-frequency trading platform, optimizing its performance, and shaping the future of our team.
Key Responsibilities- Platform Development: Design and implement a high-frequency trading platform that collects quotes and trades from and disseminates orders to exchanges around the world.
- Performance Optimization: Optimize the platform using network and systems programming, as well as other advanced techniques to minimize latency.
- Performance Analysis: Analyze system throughput and latency performance and build performance-tracking tools.
- Team Leadership: Shape the future of the Core Engineering team through regular interviewing and leadership.
- Education: A degree in computer science or a related field.
- Experience: At least 8-10 years of experience in a software engineering role.
- Technical Skills: A strong background in data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming in C++. Brilliant problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills in both English and Mandarin, and working knowledge of Linux.
- Desirable Skills: Knowledge of any other development language, including Python and Shell scripts, experience in statistical analysis of performance and other datasets, and familiarity with cloud computing infrastructure.
