About the Job

ORTEC is seeking a skilled Backend Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of our brand-new data & analytics (DnA) platform. As a Backend Engineer, you will design, build, and work on our platform, which will support and advise our customers on improving their bottom-line, based on data-driven decision support within their supply chain, financial services, travel, and more.

About the Team

We're a young, enthusiastic, highly skilled, and highly educated development team. We learn from each other and are curious about new techniques and skills. We're located both in the Netherlands and Romania, and we work in an Agile way.

About You

As a Backend Engineer, you will be working together in a multidisciplinary team in an Agile development environment with a product owner. You will take the lead in making decisions, designs, and implementation with regards to the DnA Platform. You are inquisitive, creative, and enthusiastic about sharing your ideas and know-how, and you are eager to continuously develop yourself.

Requirements

  • You have a Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science or comparable.
  • You have at least 3 years of experience on the Microsoft Azure platform, C#, Dotnet 6, Microsoft Azure cloud (App Service, Functions, Application Insights, Azure SQL).
  • You can fluently communicate in English (verbally and in writing).
