About the Role

Fugro is seeking a skilled Electrical CAD Engineer to join our Innovation Technology Commissioning and Implementation team. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for designing electrical systems, cabinets, and schemes using EPLAN, and collaborating with the design team to review and advise on practical and safety-related aspects of the design.

Your Responsibilities

  • Design electrical systems, cabinets, and schemes using EPLAN
  • Work on electrical and automation aspects of equipment for onshore, offshore, and subsea applications
  • Liaise with the design team to review and advise on practical and safety-related aspects of the design
  • Complete technical upgrades and technical manuals
  • Lead the execution of acceptance testing and validation, and participate in field pilot projects
  • Provide 3rd line support for complex issues related to hardware and software, and serve as the point of contact for the electrical side of products

Requirements

  • BSc. degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Experience working with EPLAN Electric P8 and/or EPLAN pro panel
  • Familiarity with electrical guidelines, such as NEN-EN-IEC 60204, NEN-EN-IEC 62061, and NEN-EN-ISO 13850
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken)
  • Experience with PLC programming and electrical design is a plus
