Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate within the global iApps System Design team as part of the Image Guided Therapy (IGT) Systems R&D iApps organization. Our team comprises highly skilled professionals who lead the system engineering discipline, providing technical guidance for the development and maintenance of our clinical software medical devices. Engage in a variety of tasks, including translating user and business requirements into system specifications, and leading technical teams throughout the design and development phases. Conduct pre-market and post-market risk assessments while facilitating the introduction of innovative clinical solutions. Ensure our products deliver an exceptional user experience, enabling physicians to provide optimal treatment under challenging conditions, spanning cardiovascular, oncological, and neurological care. We are a solution-oriented organization, focused on customer needs and collaborating across departments to shape the future of IGT. This adaptable role allows you to work with international teams while enjoying a hybrid working model, which includes a minimum of three days in the office and up to two days working remotely. Master’s degree in engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience). Over five years of experience in the design and development of software medical devices or products. Familiarity with medical device standards, regulatory requirements, risk management, and software verification and validation processes. Understanding of design control processes specific to medical device development. A systems thinking approach and domain expertise. Strong communication skills and effective stakeholder management capabilities. A collaborative team player with a passion for innovation.
