At Topic Software Development, we are seeking a highly skilled Embedded Systems Architect to lead the design, development, and integration of high-performance systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in systems architecture, including hardware and software integration, and experience with large-scale, high-performance systems.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation and scalability of the systems used in the telescope's data processing and signal detection functionalities. This will involve working closely with interdisciplinary teams of engineers, researchers, system engineers, and stakeholders to ensure the technical success of the project.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and architect complex systems within the project.
  • Analyze and adapt system requirements and translate them into solutions.
  • Oversee the integration of hardware and software components to ensure seamless system performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
  • Monitor and optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Support testing and validation activities to ensure systems meet the requirements of the project.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers within the project team.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience, with a minimum of 5 years of experience as a system architect.
  • Proven experience with large-scale, high-performance systems.
  • Strong understanding of systems architecture, including hardware and software integration.
  • Familiarity with Agile project management and systems engineering processes.
  • Experience working with interdisciplinary teams in a collaborative environment.
