Job Title: Systems Engineer / Architect

At TOPIC, we are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer / Architect to join our team and lead the design, development, and integration of high-performance systems. The project that requires your expertise is contributing to building the world's largest radio telescope, where TOPIC's focus is on the central signal processing capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and architect complex systems within the project, ensuring seamless operation and scalability.
  • Analyze and adapt system requirements, translating them into innovative solutions.
  • Oversee the integration of hardware and software components to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
  • Monitor and optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Support testing and validation activities to ensure systems meet project requirements.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers within the project team.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience, with 5+ years in systems architecture/engineering.
  • Proven experience with large-scale, high-performance systems.
  • Knowledge of signal processing, real-time systems, and radio frequency (RF) technologies is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of systems architecture, including hardware and software integration.
  • Familiarity with Agile project management and systems engineering processes.
