Job Title: Team Leader - Purchase Department

We are seeking a highly organized and communicative Team Leader to join our Purchase Department in the Netherlands. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of General Workers and organizing daily operations to ensure smooth performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead General Workers and organize team to perform daily operations effectively.
  • Support General Workers on daily operations and ensure all tasks are recorded properly in the WR IT system.
  • Place orders to suppliers daily, following needs in WR, and track deliveries of all expected items.
  • Ensure team safety and alert management in case of potential safety risks.
Responsibilities:Stores Operations:
  • Issue stock as per requirements on the output form.
  • Record temperature of all chiller/freezer in WR and report unacceptable deviations immediately.
  • Record daily thawing report in WR and ensure all items out of the freezer are labeled correctly.
  • Perform accurate inventory every 10 days and capture it on WR.
  • Operate with due regard to the safety of all personnel and products.
  • Flag stock due to expire and find a solution to avoid it being expired and unused.
  • Report daily all wastage and record on WR.
Receiving Operations:
  • Receive goods at the correct quantity.
  • Check prices of goods when receiving to report gaps with agreed prices.
  • Ensure goods are received at the correct temperatures.
  • Dispatch goods once received to the correct stores.
  • Capture all receipt notes accurately on WR.
  • Capture all supplier invoices accurately on WR.
  • Reject goods if criteria is not met.
  • Create claim in WR and request credit note from supplier for rejected goods.
Buying:
  • Place orders in WR and send to suppliers.
  • Time: according to ordering schedule.
  • Qty: according to needs in WR or manager requests.
  • If there is a shortage of product, check for substitute and request validation from head of procurement.
  • Share information of substituted items with all supply team and inform production team.
Supply Chain Staff:
  • Organize assignment of work for all team to perform all operations at best safety, quality, and performance.
  • Lead morning meeting starting day with relevant information.
  • Follow that all employees are wearing correct uniforms and PPE and these are in good condition.
QHSE:
  • Follow cleaning plan and record actions on cleaning checklists.
  • Maintain a clean and well-organized warehouse/chillers/freezer.
  • Follow and promote Health & Safety policies and procedures: Newrest non-negotiables Health & Safety and Food safety rules.
  • Report leakages, damage, pest infestation, and hygiene from any area to manager.
General:
  • Support initiatives from management to create or update processes within the department.
  • Observe all safety and security rules and procedures.
  • Ensure all equipment and materials are not left in a dangerous state.
Requirements:
  • Good organization skills.
  • Good communication skills to share or explain information.
  • Ability to work in varying temperatures, including freezing temperatures.
  • Ability to work fast-paced.
  • Ability to show flexibility in working in various areas of the department.
Newrest Offers:
  • One year contract, with the purpose to an indefinite contract.
  • Salary according to experience.
  • 25 vacation days and 13 ATV days.
  • End year bonus 8.33%.
  • Travel allowance.
