Control Systems Engineer

About the Role:
Pentair is seeking a highly skilled Control Systems Engineer to join our team in Venlo, Netherlands. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing advanced process control solutions for our customer projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Order Management: Take ownership of orders from sales and technology, ensuring safe design, quality engineering, on-time delivery, and cost management.
- Design Solutions & Order Execution: Develop functional descriptions, control loops, and sequence diagrams for plants based on our product portfolio and new products. Implement controls in compliance with laws and standards, and create solutions considering functional, material, HSE, and economic aspects.
- Communication & Exchange of Information: Exchange information with other teams and specialist departments, suppliers, and customers. Represent the project internally and externally, and document agreements reached.
- Documentation & Risk Assessments: Prepare operating and maintenance instructions, customer process descriptions, and functional descriptions. Support hazard analyses for individual machines and complete plants.
- Contributing Technical Knowledge: Share process control and functionality expertise with other departments and projects, and provide training for new colleagues.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: Master's degree in Control, Process, or Chemical Engineering, or equivalent qualification.
- Expert Knowledge: Measurement techniques, control theory, process dynamics, and physics.
- Tools and Software: Process Engineering Software (e.g., Comos), Process Control Software & Programming Language, PLM Software, ERP Software, MS Office, and Special Calculation Tools.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience as a Control Engineer or equivalent role, preferably in the Biogas industry and/or similar industries.
- Team Player: Independent, proactive, flexible, determined, and resilient to stress. Good communication skills, customer-oriented, and commercial mindset.
