About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our Technical Department at Boskalis Nederland. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our rolling stock, including trucks, cranes, pumps, generator sets, compressors, hydraulic sets, and grabs.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair rolling stock, including trucks, cranes, pumps, generator sets, compressors, hydraulic sets, and grabs.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to solve acute technical problems.
  • Contribute to the optimal deployment of our equipment.
  • Perform repairs at various locations within the Netherlands, if necessary.
Requirements
  • MBO level of education and thinking, preferably in mechanical engineering or automotive technology, or comparable knowledge gained through work experience.
  • Basic knowledge of diesel engines and vehicle technology.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of applicable labor and safety regulations.
  • Eager to learn, enthusiastic, and willing to take courses if necessary.
