About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our Technical Department at Boskalis. As a Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal deployment of our equipment and machinery.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Maintain and repair our rolling stock, including trucks, cranes, pumps, generator sets, compressors, hydraulic sets, and grabs.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to solve acute technical problems.
  • Contribute to the maintenance and repair of our equipment to ensure it functions properly.
  • Collaborate with colleagues from the Service Center to ensure seamless operations.

**Requirements:**

  • MBO level of education and thinking, preferably in mechanical engineering or automotive technology.
  • Basic knowledge of diesel engines and vehicle technology.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with applicable labor and safety regulations.
  • Willingness to learn and take courses if necessary.
