We are seeking a skilled Translation Project Manager to join our global team in Amstelveen, the Netherlands.

As a Translation Project Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of translation orders, ensuring they meet customer requirements and Acolad standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage translation quotes and orders according to customer needs and group standards.
  • Collaborate closely with customers, account managers, and translators/linguists.
  • Improve processes and optimize linguistic quality.
  • Organize and monitor overall workflow processes and timelines, including service delivery.
  • Monitor Service Delivery-related KPIs, adherence to deadlines, vendor costs, in-house costs, productivity, volume per service, and per language combination.

Requirements:

  • Study in translation, linguistics, language technology, languages, international business, or equivalent.
  • Fluency in English and Dutch is mandatory; proficiency in other languages is a plus.
  • Familiarity with commonly used CAT tools such as Phrase, memoQ, and SDL Trados.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients via phone, video calls, and in-person meetings.
  • Strong organizational skills to meet tight deadlines and manage workload in complex project situations.
  • Autonomy, strong team spirit, and proactive attitude.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and workload.
