Naval Engineer Plans Specialist

The RoleWe are seeking a skilled Engineer Plans & Arrangements to join our outfitting team in Vlissingen. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the functionality, maintainability, and ergonomic design of outfitting arrangements.
Key Responsibilities- Execute engineering activities using 2D and 3D environments, such as Cadmatic or 3DExperience (Catia).
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and customer specifications.
- Develop necessary information, including arrangements, lists, and fabrication/mounting drawings.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement and development of the department.
- Develop and describe yard standards to enhance operational efficiency.
- Secondary vocational education (MBO-4+) related to outfitting discipline.
- At least two years of experience in engineering outfitting systems.
- Proficiency in 2D CAD and 3D CAD systems, such as Cadmatic or 3DExperience (Catia).
- Knowledge of Class and Statutory regulations and outfitting systems, preferably within the maritime or offshore industries.
- Excellent command of English, both written and verbal.
- Excellent references and antecedents, as a pre-employment security screening is standard part of the recruitment procedure.
- Permanent EU citizenship and passport are both required.
