Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced researcher to join our team at QuTech, a collaboration between TU Delft and TNO. As a principal investigator, you will be responsible for leading a research program focused on developing novel materials and technologies for quantum computing and quantum internet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and lead a research program addressing current scientific and technological challenges in quantum materials and technologies
  • Conduct research and experiments to develop new materials and technologies for quantum computing and quantum internet
  • Collaborate with other researchers and engineers to advance the state-of-the-art in quantum technology
  • Train and mentor student researchers and contribute to the development of the next generation of quantum scientists and engineers
Requirements
  • PhD in a relevant field, such as materials science, physics, or electrical engineering
  • Proven track record of research and innovation in quantum materials and technologies
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a highly interdisciplinary environment
