At Pulitzer Amsterdam, we're seeking a skilled Front of House Lead to join our team. As a key member of our Front of House team, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless operations and exceptional guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Front of House team, ensuring smooth shift operations and effective communication.
  • Address guest complaints and issues promptly, providing exceptional service and ensuring VIP guests receive top-notch treatment.
  • Facilitate effective communication within the Front of House department and with other hotel departments.
  • Plan and anticipate hotel occupancy, guest expectations, and VIP needs to ensure seamless operations.
  • Oversee Lost & Found procedures and maintain overall cleanliness standards throughout the hotel.
  • Assist with HR-related tasks, including scheduling, hour-registration, and feedback conversations with team members.
  • Provide training and coaching to team members, contributing ideas for process improvement.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 months of experience as an operational leader within a Rooms Department.
  • Flexibility to work different shifts, including nightshifts, on weekdays, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Physical strength to stand for an entire shift and handle equipment.
  • Proficiency in systems used within the Rooms Department.
  • Strong communication skills in English, with experience leading a team of diverse cultural backgrounds an advantage.
