Looking for a challenging Tax Accounting role in Amsterdam, we are seeking an experienced professional to join our Global Accounting team. As a key member, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the company's tax accounting and compliance strategy.

As a seasoned Tax Accounting professional, you will lead income tax calculations, ensure compliance with tax regulations, and drive process improvements. Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude are essential as you collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and prepare effective tax rate (ETR) computations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Manage CIT compliance activities, including conducting reviews of CIT returns, addressing regulatory requirements, and arranging income tax payments.
  • Develop and maintain documentation of tax-related internal controls, ensuring effectiveness and adequacy of controls related to tax processes and financial reporting.
  • Establish and standardize tax accounting processes across all regions to ensure income tax compliance and accurate tax reporting.
  • Partner closely with Financial Controllers, Tax Managers, and other key Finance stakeholders to align on priorities and support cross-functional projects.

Requirements:

  • University degree in Accounting, Business, or Economics, and/or postgraduate education (RA/CPA).
  • Minimum 5-8 years' experience in finance and/or accounting, preferably within tax accounting and multinational corporate environment.
  • Solid knowledge of US GAAP and tax principles, with the ability to interpret tax legislation/accounting standards and translate it into practice.
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in SAP S4 HANA, OneStream, OneSource Tax Provision, and advanced MS Excel.
  • Experience working in a team in an international company and matrix organization.

The estimated salary for this position is €80,000 - €120,000 per annum, depending on experience. This is a unique opportunity to work with a global leader in the travel industry and contribute to driving business growth through effective tax planning and compliance.
