This hands-on role focuses on ensuring payroll accuracy, optimizing processes, and enhancing workflows - including leveraging a recently implemented Workday system. You will collaborate closely with HR teams and contribute to department-wide projects.
- Oversee and execute daily payroll operations with precision across multiple countries.
- Conduct regular checks, reporting, and analysis to ensure payroll accuracy and compliance.
- Act as the operational point of contact for payroll providers, HR, Global Mobility, Finance & Accounting, and Tax teams.
- Handle payroll-related inquiries, including salary, benefits, tax, and social security matters.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance payroll processes.
- Lead the payroll team.
- Demonstrated knowledge of payroll processes and Dutch payroll compliance (including CAO).
- Minimum 5 years of (international) payroll experience with an HBO-level working and thinking approach.
- Strong expertise in Excel and experience with payroll software (preferably ADP).
- Experience managing commissions, bonuses, and complex payroll structures.
- Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment and collaborate with different departments.
- Detail-oriented with excellent multi-tasking skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a result-driven mindset and a hands-on approach to administrative and compliance processes.
- Ability to meet multiple payroll and reporting deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
- Fluency in Dutch and English (written and spoken).
- Highly organized, efficient, and able to take ownership of responsibilities.
