Director of Beverage and Food

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Beverage and Food to join our team at the Renaissance Amsterdam Hotel. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing our hotel's culinary operations, ensuring the highest standards of service, quality, and innovation across all dining outlets.
Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day operations of the food and beverage department, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff supervision.
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives to drive revenue growth and guest satisfaction.
- Lead a talented team to deliver memorable dining experiences that exceed expectations.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service and high-quality standards.
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, culinary arts, or related field; master's degree preferred.
- Proven track record of success in senior food and beverage leadership roles within lifestyle hotels and upscale independent dining establishments, with a minimum of 10 years of experience.
- Strong business acumen and financial management skills, with the ability to analyze budgets, forecast revenues, and control food and beverage costs effectively.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve excellence.
- Creative flair and a passion for culinary innovation, with a keen understanding of current food and beverage trends and consumer preferences.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in relevant software applications, such as POS systems, inventory management software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Fluency in English; Dutch and additional language skills are desirable.
