Lead the Culinary and Beverage Experience at W Amsterdam

W Amsterdam is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Food and Beverage Operations to lead our culinary and beverage team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for driving the success of our food and beverage operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement culinary and beverage strategies to drive revenue growth and enhance guest satisfaction
  • Lead and manage a high-performing team of culinary and beverage professionals, providing coaching, guidance, and development opportunities
  • Collaborate with the executive chef and culinary team to design and implement menus, ensuring consistency and quality across all outlets
  • Manage food and beverage costs, inventory, and labor, ensuring efficient operations and maximizing profitability
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and partners to ensure seamless operations and optimal pricing
  • Monitor and analyze guest feedback, reviews, and ratings to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a senior culinary or beverage role, preferably in a luxury hotel or high-end restaurant
  • Proven track record of success in driving revenue growth, improving guest satisfaction, and maintaining high standards of quality and service
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with guests, colleagues, and external partners
  • Fluency in English, with proficiency in Dutch a plus
