Bristol Myers Squibb is a leading biopharmaceutical company that is dedicated to transforming patients' lives through science. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to join our team in Leiden, Netherlands.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the warehouse team and ensuring the smooth operation of the warehouse. This includes developing and managing resource allocation and shift schedules, coaching and counseling team members, and promoting a culture of safety and compliance.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, with experience in managing warehouse operations and teams. They will also have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage warehouse team member resource allocation and shift schedules
  • Coach and counsel team members to develop their skills and create a culture of continuous learning
  • Promote and engage team in safety and safety training program
  • Communicate with stakeholders inside and outside of supply chain to drive successful outcomes
  • Maintain and communicate performance metrics for the warehouse team

Qualifications and Experience

  • Relevant education or experience in science, facilities, and engineering on HBO/Bachelor level
  • 3-5 years of advanced people manager experience in a cGMP supply chain, biologics, or process support environment
  • Advanced proficiency in ERP systems and analytics tools
  • Advanced knowledge of fundamental concepts of materials management, planning, and site production scheduling
