About the Role

Arcadis is a leading global consultancy that delivers sustainable design, engineering, and project management solutions for natural and built assets. As a Project Manager, Transmission, you will play a critical role in helping our clients achieve their goals in the energy transition sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead project client liaison and internal coordination from initial contact through project delivery
  • Define, contribute to, and deliver Transmission & Distribution (T&D) projects throughout the project lifecycle
  • Challenging, proposing, agreeing, and implementing alternative solutions compared to those dictated by T&D specifications, policies, processes, and best practices
  • Ensure risks are proactively identified, assessed, and managed to avoid adverse impacts on the project
  • Identify and negotiate extra work options and/or possible claims
  • Adequate planning, control, and reporting of project both internal and external
Requirements
  • Degree or relevant qualification in Electrical Engineering or Power Engineering (BSc, MSc, or PhD) or relevant T&D expertise built up during the career
  • Experience working as a substation and/or plant Project Manager/(Lead) Engineer to international and/or industry standards
  • Expertise in HV substation primary, control & protection, and/or secondary equipment design deliverables, feasibility studies, reports, programs, and cost estimates
  • Broad knowledge of Transmission & Distribution work field & technologies and familiar with international T&D standards, working methods, and technical software tooling
  • Proven ability to lead projects covering designing and/or delivering engineering safely to budget, time, and quality that meets customer expectations
  • Solid proven project management and supportive tooling experience and familiar with contract, claim management, and legal aspects
  • Proven ability to work with internal and external parties, e.g., equipment suppliers, manufacturers, service providers, professional bodies, and working within a strong international/diverse team-working culture
  • Capable of communicating complex technical or commercial issues to peers or senior managers and stakeholders
  • Experience in writing clear and concise offers, documentation, and reports
