Overview of Procurement in Amsterdam

Our Amsterdam Headquarters is home to Global Direct Category teams that oversee Packaging, Raw Materials, and External Manufacturing, alongside Global Indirect Category and EMEA Procurement teams responsible for Media, Digital, Marketing, Business Services, and Logistics. We are a diverse group with a shared commitment to developing our people and driving Coty's transformation journey. Our teams focus on identifying improvements and executing projects that deliver value and service while facilitating reinvestment into our brands.

Internship Responsibilities

In the Direct Procurement sub-function, the internship roles encompass various business areas including Glass, Raw Materials, and Secondary Packaging. Key responsibilities include:

  • Analyzing spend data to assist category buyers
  • Supporting RFI/RFP processes
  • Contributing to sustainability initiatives
  • Assisting with various transformation projects
  • Managing day-to-day interactions with suppliers and internal stakeholders

Candidate Requirements

  • Currently enrolled as a student (final year of Bachelor/Master)
  • Prior experience in Procurement or Supply Chain is preferred
  • A strong passion for beauty and an affinity for dynamic environments
  • Excellent analytical skills with proficiency in Excel
  • Willingness to take on responsibilities and add value
  • Proactive and hands-on attitude
  • Adaptable and enjoys challenges
  • Strong administrative and communication skills, with a preference for teamwork
  • Proficient in English

Internship Details

This is a full-time internship (40 hours per week) lasting 5-6 months. Remote work is permissible up to 50% of the time, in coordination with your supervisor. Interns will receive a stipend and transportation support if necessary. The internship can be aligned with academic thesis work, though this will primarily be conducted in the intern's own time.
