Westfalia Fruit, a leading multinational supplier of fresh fruit and related value-added products, is seeking an experienced Safety Compliance Specialist to join its team in Poeldijk, Netherlands.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field and prior experience in a health and safety role, preferably within the FMCG industry. Fluency in English and Dutch is essential for this position.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining health and safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, national, and international regulations. This includes conducting regular risk assessments and audits, investigating and reporting on workplace incidents and accidents, and providing training and support to employees on health and safety practices.

This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and health and safety management software, and good communication and interpersonal skills. Basic knowledge of ISO 45001 certification standards is highly advantageous.

In return for your expertise and commitment, Westfalia Fruit offers a competitive salary of €55,000 per year, 26 days paid vacation, plus national holidays, company pension scheme, and company phone and laptop.
