We’re looking for a Health and Safety Manager to join our team in Europe, covering Poeldijk, Netherlands and Munich, Germany.

Responsibilities include:

- Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, national, and international regulations.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 45001 certification standards and maintain the certification.
- Provide training and support to employees on health and safety practices.
- Investigate and report on workplace incidents and near misses, including the development of strategies to prevent future occurrences.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure that the company is up to date with current health and safety legislation.
- Promote a culture of safety with continuous improvement to safety procedures and safety awareness within the organization.

**Requirements**:
Essential
- Prior experience in a health and safety role required.
- Must have prior knowledge of ISO 45001 certification standards.
- Fluency in English and Dutch is required at an advanced level; German fluency is highly advantageous.
- Able and willing to travel to other European facilities when required.

Desirable
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and legislation in both the Netherlands and Germany.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, particularly in understanding risk assessments, processes and techniques.
- Ability to travel regularly between the Netherlands and Germany.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and health and safety management software.
- Strong leadership and project management skills.
- Ability to conduct thorough investigations and generate comprehensive reports.
- Excellent communications skills with the ability to influence and engage employees at all levels within the business.
