We are seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Administrator to join our team at Samsung Electronics Air Conditioner Europe B.V. in Schiphol.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will contribute to the seamless operation of our global supply chain, ensuring that our innovative products reach markets efficiently. Key responsibilities include:
- Cost analysis: managing and negotiating freight rates with shipping and warehousing vendors, ensuring costs align with contracts.
- Insurance oversight: monitoring logistics processes for changes requiring insurance updates, and managing claims effectively.
- Security checks: assessing and enhancing the security measures of our warehouses and transportation to mitigate risks.
- Operational solutions: actively participating in identifying and resolving logistical issues to optimize operations.
- Communication: serving as a primary English communicator, liaising between various departments and external partners.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 1-2 years' experience in logistics or supply chain management.
- Fluent English communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or a related field.
- Certifications in customs knowledge advantageous.
- Operational logistics insight beneficial.
