Dredging Engineer Intern

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Dredging Engineer Intern. As a key member of our RD&I department, you will be responsible for conducting research and experiments in our state-of-the-art sand laboratory.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct literature reviews and design analytical models of physical processes using CFD, Matlab, MathCAD, and ProDredge.
- Set up and execute test programs, including varying conditions, and collect test data.
- Analyze measuring results and validate analytical models.
- Report and demonstrate findings to stakeholders within the project.
- Take responsibility for your own project management.
- Bachelor or Master student in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Dredging Engineering, or Fluid Dynamics.
- Autonomous, practically, and result-driven with a curious attitude and good communication skills.
- Good command of Dutch and English, especially in writing.
The project will be carried out at our DDE yard location in Nijkerk. A monthly allowance will be paid for the duration of the assignment. Flexible working hours can be discussed, and proper mentoring at HBO or academic level will be available throughout the project.
