Job Title: Space Operations Coordinator

Serco is a leading Space Services Provider with a strong presence in the European space sector. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Space Operations Coordinator to join our team in the Netherlands.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our Financial Operations Section, ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes and procedures. This includes certifying and calculating individual travel claims, reconciling corporate credit card execution, and uploading invoices and credit notes into SAP.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Certify and calculate individual travel claims against supporting vouchers and invoices.
  • Reconcile corporate credit card execution and ticket discrepancies.
  • Upload invoices and credit notes into SAP.
  • Rectify SAP-posting error log.
  • Creation of statistics and reports as requested.
  • Other ad-hoc tasks as requested by the Team Manager.
Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in providing a customer-oriented service with an eye for processing and workflow.
  • Knowledge of financial accounting and experience in Accounts Payables.
  • Familiarity with modern office automation tools and techniques, in particular Microsoft Office or equivalent, as well as customized database and software applications.
  • Experience as a user of SAP and in particular ECC module and familiarity with relevant ESA corporate applications is an asset.
  • Capacity to identify priority actions and to handle high workloads.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills are needed, together with a high degree of organizational and communication abilities to be client-focused.
  • Comfortable with working in a diverse and multinational team environment.
  • Ability to work independently and establish good working relations with relevant actors in ESA and Industry.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • A good working knowledge of French is an asset.
  • Candidates must be eligible to work in the EU.

The Netherlands' central location in Europe makes it an ideal base for travel and business within the EU. Major cities are well-connected by road, rail, and air with Amsterdam Schiphol Airport one of Europe's busiest and most well-connected airports, facilitating easy international travel.
