About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Legal Counsel to join our team at Just Eat Takeaway. As a key member of our Legal Corporate team, you will be responsible for providing expert legal advice and support on various cross-functional projects, including M&A activities, intercompany projects, and external financing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide legal support to the Director Corporate Legal and the business on M&A, intercompany, and financing projects.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality advice and documents with minimal supervision.
  • Ensure that M&A and related risks are managed and escalated as necessary.
  • Comply with applicable legislation and maintain the highest standards of corporate governance.
  • Support and guide colleagues in the Corporate Legal team on corporate restructuring initiatives.

Requirements

  • Legal professional qualified in the Netherlands, with experience in corporate law, preferably from a combination of private practice and in-house roles.
  • Quick learner with a "can do" attitude and a strong academic record.
  • In-depth knowledge of corporate law and governance for a Dutch listed entity.
  • Excellent English written and oral communication skills and drafting skills.
