Key Role in Global Growth Strategy

ROCKWOOL Group is seeking a high-performing colleague to play a key role in the execution of our ambitious growth strategy, seizing the attractive opportunities provided by the worldwide green energy transition.

About the Role

This is a new position where you will work globally to develop our business within new energy technologies and other industrial segments, driving business for the area and delivering tangible results. You will have a high degree of freedom in shaping your work and setting the direction, securing results both on the short and longer term.

Responsibilities

  • Drive growth in existing and new business segments, such as emergent green technologies (Power-to-X, energy storage, etc.)
  • Analyze markets, assess their attractiveness, and provide recommendations on development of new products and solutions, and determine the best go-to-market strategy
  • Work closely with Product Development and drive the commercial side of projects
  • Assess potential partnerships
  • Create sales collaterals and work closely with regional sales teams to develop and penetrate the markets

About You

We are looking for a high-performing colleague with a strategic mindset and a structured approach to problem-solving. You thrive working with a blank canvas, defining the project yourself, and developing new, ambitious solutions. You are result-oriented and have strong leadership and project management skills.

Requirements

  • Hold a M.Sc. in engineering or business, ideally supplemented with an MBA
  • Ideally have several years of experience in commercial roles from an international company, allowing you to hit the ground running
  • Experience from process industry is an advantage but not a prerequisite. Technical curiosity is a must
  • Are fluent in English, written and spoken
  • Have an international mindset and an interest in traveling up to 20% (mostly EU and NA)
