About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Power BI Engineer to join our team at Marel. As a Power BI Engineer, you will be responsible for architecting, designing, and implementing advanced data engineering and modeling solutions that underpin our Business Intelligence capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a scalable and efficient Business Intelligence infrastructure, focusing on data engineering practices that enhance data accessibility, reliability, and quality.
  • Lead the design and implementation of complex Business Intelligence projects, transforming business requirements into technical specifications and actionable insights.
  • Drive Business Intelligence projects from conception to completion, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical standards.
  • Implement data governance policies and practices to maintain the integrity, security, and quality of data within the Business Intelligence ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with IT to optimize the Business Intelligence platform for performance and scalability.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Analytics, or a related field.
  • At least 5-7 years of experience in data engineering, Business Intelligence architecture, or a closely related field, with demonstrated success in designing and implementing Business Intelligence solutions.
  • Proven experience in Power BI enterprise solution development, including semantic models, composite models, report and dashboard creation, DAX, and Power Query.
  • Strong understanding of dimensional modeling principles and experience with SQL and relational databases.
  • Knowledge of data processing, data architecture, and Business Intelligence best practices.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
