Job Title: Senior Test Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Test Engineer to join our team at VDL Enabling Transport Solutions. As a Senior Test Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting various EV and AV connected vehicle integration projects, ensuring the delivery of high-quality products on time.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Configure and define test setups;
  • Develop and implement test automation scripts within our framework/pipeline;
  • Execute test cases as required;
  • Analyze and report on test results;
  • Coordinate and support test engineers, ensuring timely and quality deliveries;
  • Enhance test team methodologies for optimal efficiency and excellence.
Your Profile:
  • Demonstrated expertise as a senior tester at both system and software levels;
  • Solid grasp of test strategies and risk-based testing;
  • Knowledge of ISTQB and TMMi frameworks;
  • Ability to provide technical coaching to engineers;
  • Experience with dSpace Scalexio hardware and software;
  • Proficiency in implementing new processes within a HiL environment;
  • Thorough understanding of test automation frameworks and tools;
  • Skills in Python scripting and Matlab/Simulink;
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines;
  • Experience with connectivity tests and simulated driving environments is advantageous;
  • Background in the automotive industry, especially with EVs or AVs, is beneficial;
