About the Role
At ADM, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Environmental Manager to join our team at our Europoort location. As a key member of our SHEQ department, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all environmental regulations and requirements.
Main Responsibilities:
- Monitor site activities and implement actions to ensure compliance with environmental regulations
- Communicate with regulatory agencies as required for environmental issues
- Prepare permit applications and regulatory applicability analysis
- Maintain and manage the site's Environmental Management System (EMS)
- Participate in and lead environmental audits and prioritize, assign and track audit findings
- Prepare required reports and maintain records/documentation related to environmental programs
- Develop and provide training for employees and contractors related to environmental programs
Requirements:
- Knowledge of environmental regulations, management systems and permitting
- Good project/program management skills
- Proven problem solving, diagnostic and analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Team player, collaborative, and good influencing skills
- Fluency in Dutch and English
