We are seeking a highly skilled Data Management Steward to join our Basel Data Product team at ABN AMRO Bank. As a Data Steward, you will be responsible for the business aspects of Data Management in accordance with all rules and legislation, policies, and standards.
Key Responsibilities- Define and register metadata, analyse and resolve DQ issues, and capture governance lineage.
- Support the construction of the Finance & Risk Business Data Model.
- Work closely with subject matter experts from Credit Risk, Basel Reporting, Data Sourcing, Data Modelling, and Data Platform.
The Finance & Risk Data Domain is part of Finance & Risk Business Grids (F&RBG) and plays an active role for all the Finance and Risk departments. We employ 250+ international professionals with different backgrounds who are driven to bring data management within Finance & Risk to a structurally higher level.
Requirements- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written (English is required).
- Successfully completed a higher professional education (Bsc.) or degree (Msc.).
- At least 4 years relevant working experience.
- Knowledge of data governance and data management best practices (DAMA) and the requirements in these areas from the regulator (BCBS239).
- Ability to independently participate in stakeholder engagement sessions.
- Affinity with banking, Finance & Risk Management, and reporting.
